About Us

Alpha Zulu Marine was established by Ariel Zurakowski over a decade ago. With a profound passion for the sea and nature, Ariel began working on boats in his early years. His professional career started at a recognized yacht factory in South Florida where he fully developed his skills in complete electrical installations on a dozen of state-of-the-art sportfish yachts. He was also able to contribute to the assembly of every system that can be found on a vessel. Soon after, he was exploring larger yachts with more complex systems and proudly worked for one of the most respected marine electrical companies in United States for almost a decade where he became one of the lead technicians and surveyors for both electrical and electrochemical corrosion. With 20 years as a marine electrician and thorough experience as an onboard engineer with months at sea, he is well versed in designing, servicing, and maintaining complex electrical systems on yachts. Ariel is dedicated to ensuring optimal safety and performance in every boat he touches. Ariel is an ABYC certified technician and holds an Art degree from Broward College. Although you can often find him playing on the water, Ariel is also a commercial pilot and flight instructor who holds hundreds of flight hours that enables him to fly anywhere in the Caribbean to provide his service, he applies the same procedures in a cockpit as he so carefully does on yachts.
